米脚本家組合賞: ドキュメンタリ作が史上初の受賞 銃社会に反対するドキュメンタリ作「Bowling for Columbine」とピュリツァー賞作の「The Hours」が受賞。 |
8日、米脚本家組合のWriters Guild of America主催「第55回 WGA Awards」がロサンゼルスのBeverly HiltonとニューヨークのPierre Hotelで開催。映画では、脚本のBest Original Screenplay賞にMichael Moore(画像)の "Bowling for Columbine"、脚色のBest Screenplay Adaptation賞にDavid Hareの "The Hours" が選ばれた。"Bowling for Columbine" は、銃社会を描いた異色で、ドキュメンタリ作として史上初のノミネートからの受賞。"The Hours" は、ピュリツァー賞を受賞したVirginia Woolfの小説 "Mrs. Dalloway" をベースにした作品。 テレビでは、Best Episodic Drama賞に "The Education of Max Bickford"、Best Episodic Comedy賞に "Frasier"、Best Original Long-Form賞に "The Gathering Storm"、Best Adapted Long-Form賞に "Band of Brothers" が受賞した。 |
